While ATV’s are not allowed inside Zion there are some truly amazing off-road friendly destinations nearby. The wide-open dirt roads of Gooseberry Mesa and Little Creek offer a great high desert experience while the truly “pink” sand dunes of Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park and Sand Hollow State Park offer hours of amazing fun and 360-degree scenic vistas no matter where you are. The backcountry roads that lead to some of the locals’ area favorites like Touqerville Falls and the red sandstone canyons near Leeds and Silver Reef add even more the available opportunities.
