Zion Makes US News List “25 Best Places To Visit in the USA”
Our beloved Zion was listed at the #25 spot on the list. Sure, we think it should be higher, but recognition in any form is certainly welcome. Zion National Park is a favorite tourist spot for countless people around the world and we are glad to see it here. Below are the remaining 24 locations that US News put on their list, in descending order. How would you rearrange this? What places should have made it that don’t appear here? Where would you rank Zion among these tourist locations?
Sedona, AZ – #24
One of Arizona’s many incredible locations, Sedona (like Zion) is full of towering cliffs and red rock formations. Anyone tourist enjoys hiking and other outdoor activities will find this place a paradise. Sedona is also known for fantastic spas in nearby cities.
Monterey, CA – #23
Take a whale watching tour or visit the unforgettable aquarium. Located right on Monterey Bay, take a stroll through famous Cannery Row to shop, eat, and be entertained.
Savannah, GA – #22
One of the most visited cities in the southern U.S., Savannah is overflowing with history and has maintained its vintage charm. Make sure you take a trolley or horse-drawn carriage ride when you visit as a tourist.
Big Sur, CA – #21
Certainly one of the most photogenic beaches in the U.S., make sure you’ve got lots of memory space on your camera when you visit. Visit Sand Dollar Beach or Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park while you’re here.
